Exploration of a new design paradigm: origami style robots from informal materials such as laminated cardboard components, rather than from rigid metal parts. Robots made from these informal materials are light, highly customizable and quick to assemble.
A sculpture manufactured out of extremely lightweight aluminium panels. Assembled, the custom CNC cut components form and elegant, soft and dynamic volume insipired by the automobile industry.
This research project investigates mobility patterns on different scales and with different visualization methods to gain knowledge and develop design solutions.

ZERO WASTE CITY
One-week workshop on austerity. We developed solutions for a city in which we reduced the amount of waste to 0 cubic meters per person per day.
Workshop on whether or not copy pasting buildings and objects in our own projects disrespects the original designer or realizes cheaper or even better designs.
BIOLOGICAL FOOD CITY
What landscape can we imagine? Do we need to change people's diets? What city design enables for food, waste and nutrient cycles?

What is needed to provide a city of 1.000.000 inhabitants with all the food it needs? How can we plan closed cycles? What food processes should be provided?
